Eyowo is a fintech platform and digital bank regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) that allows users to manage their money via their mobile phone, using their phone number as their bank account identifier. The platform offers a full suite of financial services: instant money transfers to any phone number or bank account, bill payments, airtime and data purchases, receiving funds, interest-bearing savings, and budget management, all accessible via the mobile app, the web, or USSD codes.
Eyowo is provided through two regulated entities: Eyowo Integrated Payments Ltd, licensed as a payment solutions provider, and Eyowo Microfinance Bank, both supervised by the CBN. The platform emphasizes financial inclusion by simplifying access to banking services, even for the unbanked, and by integrating tools such as secure digital cards (in partnership with Mastercard), savings options, and spending control features.
In 2024, Eyowo obtained the full restoration of its CBN license, strengthening its ability to serve its customers with its suite of digital financial services.
