FATE Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 by Fola Adeola to promote entrepreneurship and accelerate the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria by providing entrepreneurs with the tools they need to start, grow, and scale their businesses. It implements a range of programs and services, from practical entrepreneurship training (such as the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme and the Emerging Entrepreneurs Programme) to incubation, mentorship, access to finance, networking, and support for business formalization. The foundation acts as a catalyst for job creation and economic growth, delivering solutions tailored to the Nigerian context while fostering innovation, sustainability, and business leadership. Over its 25-year history, FATE Foundation has been at the forefront of the Nigerian entrepreneurial ecosystem, reaching hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs through its training programs, online platforms, and research publications, while also advocating for policies that support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
